Together with publisher Roos Schouw from Focus Media and the help and proof reading of Philip Kruijer and designer Ido Harmens we worked on this mamoth of a project. My goal was to always combine the creative reasoning with the technical aspects. Opening up the world of Film and Video to the photographer and filmstudents. Many years of teaching at the School of Arts HKU faculty KMT and SAE Amsterdam and Rotterdam and being a keynote speaker at IBC, NAB, BVE, Cinegear and other industry events gave me the insights to complete this book.
